Costings
A deposit or booking fee may be negotiated (though rarely) and will be included in the invoices total cost. A late cancellation (7 days or less prior to gig) may incur a $400 fee. Acoustic Licence is a registered business with an Australian Business Number 639 8619 7740. Paul Foster T/as ACOUSTIC LICENCE Prices are “as is”; the business is de-registered for G.S.T.
Our rates are very reasonable, and we guarantee more music for your money! We don't talk much, just play! It is preferred that the situation with monies is: "pay-on-the-day" cash or cheque (payable to Paul Foster),
or direct deposit / online banking at least 3-4 days "PRIOR" to the performance. (netbanking details listed on invoice).
Invoices are issued with dates / amounts/ ABN and description "to" person(s) / business(s) nominated, and methods of payment.
Weather Please consider the instruments, equipment and musicians by supplying adequate shade in the summer months and cover in winter months, or have the option of transferring the gig to indoors.
Equipment The duo is self sufficient, supplying professional sound reinforcement system/s and lighting effects; including rigging, mirror ball, lighting cans and smoke machine/s.
A CD player / i-River
/ i-phone / i-pad (or your i-Pod
/ i-phone) is incorporated to provide background music during breaks. Set up times may be pre arranged so as not to clash with caterers,
decorations etc, or prior to guests / clients arriving.
Note an hour to two hours is usually required for a load
in and set up, more if large distances from car park to stage area. (Ensure mains power is accessible to the "stage" area).
Also allow an hour for pack down which is unconditionally
to be done at the gigs completion. Performance times Early starts for dinner music
/ pre dinner drinks are negotiable. Please take in to consideration when planning start and finish
times ·

break times approx. 10-20 min · Number of sets, as many as it takes! NB: A normal Pub Gig is 3-4 hours. We realise weddings have speeches / toasts etc. to get through so 3-4 hours is: "playing time with refreshment breaks"; to lubricate and rest the vocal instruments
Weddings have an extra option of: Songs,prior, during (signing of the register) and after the ceremony. · from our repertoire, · Personal choice...prearranged chosen at least one month prior to the wedding so we can "acoustify" your song choice. · Plus the wedding waltz from our repertoire Or · Song can be pre-recorded on CD in CD format NOT MP3's or 4's or listed on your i-Pod and played through our sound system.
