ACOUSTIC-LICENCE
aka FLESH’n’WOOD
Acoustic Licence is as it suggests, a type of "poetic licence" in "Acoustifying" songs.
Breaking down a band’s sound to voice with acoustic accompaniment.
Acoustic Licence
(aka FLESH’n’WOOD) is Paul “Fozzi” Foster, a vocalist / bassist returning to his
roots, on vocals and guitar. Returning to an acoustic bass depending on the performance space and accompanying artistes.
Only acoustic
guitars and acoustic bass are used, with a "beat" supplied by "body blows" and a "stomp box".
Or.... an accomplished percussionist!
No backing tracks, sequencers or drum machines are used, it is a "live acoustic performance"!
Latest addition, to varying lineups, are the vocal talents of Lydia Roborgh a young singer recently moved to Perth from New Zealand.
Studying Musical
Theatre and Performing Arts at Otago University, Lydia has always had a keen interest in music
and entertaining, being involved in heaps of shows ranging from “old school” “Oklahoma”
to more risqué numbers like “Cabaret” and “Chicago”.
Lydia was part of an acoustic duo in New Zealand making the most of the Pop
Up Bars after the destruction of the Christchurch earthquakes.
With tuition from a young age Lydia performs
a variety of genres from Classical to Pop.
She is excited to get back into the music
sceneand discover what Perth has to offer.
Unfortunately
for me Lydia has recently taken a promotion and moved to Sydney, I wish her the best on her new position and her entrance
to the Sydney live music scene.
Amanda is a "country girl of heart" hailing from Queensland.
Playing the Country
Music Competition Circuit with the likes of the McClymont Sisters... and
winning!!
Although
Country is her love she can perform a mean Pop Song.
Amanda also plays some guitar,
which adds another depth to her performing and a chance for me to use other instruments.
Wishing the best to Amanda and family
as they tackle her sons health concern.
With the added talents, (incredible rhythm, feel and timing), of Lloyd Williams
Acoustic Licence morphs into 'Bag of Rocks' a flexible
duo or trio with the addition of percussion and /or “CrowdedHouse-esque” unplugged
drums.
Or my accompanying Lloydy on 'his' gigs at the Paddo!
SOON TO COME the talents of
Carly Hamence, former Victorian, now in Perth.
A vast selection of pop-rock music from 70's
to current day is covered that will keep an audience of all ages entertained at any venue.
